Observations From My Lonely World
Just some random thoughts that plague the mind of this bored and lonely diarist...
1. If everyone in the world became a vegetarian, what would happen to all of the farm animals?
2. They say that guns don't kill, people do. But still, wouldn't it be much more difficult for people to kill one another if there were fewer guns?
3. If the one of the foremost teachings of Christ is to love your neighbor as yourself, why do so many Christians do hateful things?
4.Would anyone object to Martin Luther King Jr.'s dream that people be judged by the content of their character rather than the color of their skin who did not have some serious character defects?
5. Why is it that if a man fools around with many different women he is sowing his wild oats, but if a woman fools around with more than one man, she's a slut?
6. The adage as it should be. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will hurt forever...
These are just my thoughts and observations. Feel free to disagree.

1. What vegetable do you hate eating?
I like vegetables. I honestly can't think of a single one that I hate eating, unless you count raw tomatoes. Once they are cooked, I love them, but raw ones make me gag!
Don't go telling me that a tomato is a fruit!
I know that, but all fruits are also vegetables...
2. Which music artist do you hate the most? Why?
Whitney Houston. I liked her when she first started out, but then she took voice lessons and started wailing like some sort of banshee.
If you want to do opera, Whitney, do opera, but that kind of vocal has no place in pop music!
Ouch! The way you howl out Dolly Parton's beautiful ballad I Will Always Love You makes my ears bleed!
3. What book do you hate?
I remember reading All Is Quiet On The Western Front when I was in tenth grade. I hated that book with a passion. The descriptions of the wounded soldiers on the battlefield were far too graphic for my liking at the time.
I often wonder if I would feel the same way about this book if I were to read it again today...
4. What type of clothing do you hate?
Bathing suits! Unless you have an absolutely perfect body, they look ridiculous. I most certainly would never wear one in public!
5. Do you agree with "you don't hate a person, you just hate what they've done (to you)"
I most certainly do! One of the most basic principles of the Christian faith is to hate the sin, but love the sinner.
It is a shame that so many people who call themselves Christians seem to have forgotten this!

After nearly two years of keeping this diary, I finally figured out how to make my archive pages work! Well, duh...
It was so simple. I feel like some sort of idiot!
With this knowledge in hand, I should be posting here much more frequently.
I also had a stroke of creative genius the other day, hence the addition of my new monthly calendar. It was quite simple and fun to make it, so it is bound to become a new monthly project for me. Any of animé or Treize fans out there who would like to use it on your diaries, feel free to do so. I don't even mind if you use my bandwidth. I've got plenty! A link back to any of my sites would be appreciated, but is by no means necessary. I am also quite willing to create custom calendars or help with html coding.
